Abstract

Provided is a mesh structure of one embodiment of the present invention that reinforces the connection portions of mesh and suppresses a deterioration in quality by using a plating film. This mesh structure comprises an insulation film formed on the upper surface of the mesh, and a plating film that is formed on the lower surface of the mesh and that fixes the intersections of fiber threads in the mesh. The mesh structure is used for various applications such as a printing stencil. The insulation film functions as a masking film when forming the plating film.

Provided is a method for fixedly forming a water-and-oil-repellent layer on an amorphous carbon film. Abstract

Disclosed are: an amorphous carbon film whereby a layer comprising a material capable of condensation-reacting with hydroxy groups on the surface of the amorphous carbon film in a layer comprising the amorphous carbon film and arranged on a base material can be fixed onto the layer comprising the amorphous carbon film, and the fixation can be retained at a satisfactory level and in an equalized manner; and a method for fixing a layer comprising a material capable of condensation-reacting with hydroxy groups on the surface of an amorphous carbon film in a layer comprising the amorphous carbon film and arranged on a base material onto the surface of the layer comprising the base material. Si and O are added to the layer comprising the amorphous carbon film to improve the adhesion durability and the binding uniformity of the layer comprising the material capable of condensation-reacting with the hydroxy groups. Particularly, when a fluorine-containing silane coupling agent is used, it becomes possible to impart high functionalities including water-repellent/oil-repellent properties, abrasion resistance, chemical resistance, low friction and non-adhesiveness.

Abstract

Disclosed is a multilayer film lamination method, by which an amorphous carbon film can be formed at the top of an aluminum or aluminum alloy base with high adhesion and corrosion of a layer below the amorphous carbon film can be suppressed. Specifically, a multilayer film structure with an adequate gradient of hardness can be obtained by forming a zinc substituted film on the surface of a base that is composed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy, forming a nickel plating layer by an electroless plating method using the zinc substituted film as a primer layer, then forming a hard chromium plating layer, and additionally forming, as the uppermost layer, an amorphous carbon film preferably at a temperature of 350˚C or less and preferably by a low-temperature plasma CVD method.
