Abstract

An automatic open-close umbrella includes umbrella ribs (1), extension springs (2) of the umbrella ribs, a central-shaft (3), an upper nest (6), a lower nest (7), a button (8), a main body (9), a guide tube (10), a spring (20) inside the tube and an anti-mistake spring (30). An accidental actuation preventing device (5) comprised of an accidental actuation preventing rope (51), a ratchet wheel (52), a ratchet wheel support lid (53), a clockwork spring (54), an accidental actuation preventing block (55) and a reset spring (56) is added into the umbrella handle of this invention. This device (5) controls the engagement and detachment of the accidental actuation preventing block (55) and the ratchet wheel (52) through a bullet head, so as to turn on/of the function of preventing accidental actuation. With restraint by the strength of the clockwork spring and the hold over the middle tube of the central-shaft by the accidental actuation preventing rope, the retraction rhythm of the umbrella can be regulated better, and the umbrella would be retracted gradually. This invention has compact structure, high security, and long service life.
