Abstract

The invention relates to a warp shed-forming device (10)for looms, with a driving unit (1) which is connected via a lever (2, 5) and linkages (4, 6) to the heald rods (3), and with at least one spring element (8) which is in a pretensioned state when the heald rods (3) are in a raised or in a lowered position, and which is in a relaxed state when the heald rods (3) are in an intermediate position.
