Abstract

The invention relates to a heating device operated with liquid fuel, having a fuel pump (1) that comprises a displacement element (2) and is used to suction the liquid fuel out of a tank (6) and feed it to a pressure-conducting region (7, 9), in which an elevated pressure defined by a pressure regulator (14) exists and which transmits the fuel to an atomizer nozzle (10), from which it exits into a combustion chamber to form a burner flame (11). In order to avoid interruptions of operation, the pressure-conducting region (7, 9) comprises at least one additional volume (20, 22), the size of which is selected such that the pressure drop occurring in the pressure-conducting region (7, 9) during suction of gas bubbles does not lead to a lasting interruption of fuel delivery by the fuel pump (1). The additional volume (20) can be integrated directly into the pump or the additional volume (22) can be integrated into the nozzle pipe.

Abstract

An axial-flow blower arrangement for the condenser (28) of a roof-mounted air-conditioning system comprising two evaporation units (3, 4) and a condenser unit (2) arranged therebetween, consists of at least two blower modules (1), each of which has a box-shaped, downwardly open hood (10) which has a cover wall (12) and walls (14, 15, 16, 17) which, in the fitted state, extend downwards from the cover wall and, together with the cover wall, enclose an air suction space (26) from which an axial-flow blower (23) mounted below the cover wall sucks up air and outputs said air into the atmosphere through an air outlet opening (20). In the fitted state, the walls of the air suction space of each blower module extend downwards as far as the horizontal condenser (28) which completely covers the lower side of the hood (10), said walls terminating with said condenser in such a manner that, under the action of the axial-flow blower, only air which has previously passed through the condenser can enter the air suction space of the blower module.
