Abstract

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a molded foam product which can reduce or prevent blisters and crinkles on the surface even in the case of manufacturing a molded product designed to have a small thickness, thereby giving a molded foam product having excellent heat insulation while avoiding an increase in the amounts of materials used. The method for manufacturing a molded foam product according to the present invention includes the steps of: injecting, during injection molding, a molten resin containing a supercritical fluid or a chemical foaming agent into a cavity formed in a mold that includes a movable portion; and moving the movable portion to increase the volume of the cavity before the molten resin injected into the cavity completely solidifies, the mold alternately including, in a direction from a resin injection port to the periphery of the cavity, first linear portions each giving a large gap size in the cavity and second linear portions each giving a small gap size in the cavity.

A shaped structure and a fabric material are set in a belt mold such that the shaped structure and the fabric material are respectively positioned inside and outside with respect to each other. While each of compression layer-forming portions comprised of ridges of the shaped structure covered with the fabric material is fitted in an associated one of compression layer-shaping grooves of the belt mold, the shaped structure is pressed toward the belt mold and heated to be crosslinked, and integrated with the fabric material, thereby molding a cylindrical belt slab. Abstract

A toothed belt is provided with toothed portions arranged at a regular pitch in a belt length direction. A belt body is made of a rubber composition containing, as a main ingredient of a rubber component, ethylene-α-olefin elastomer having an ethylene content of 44% by mass to 66% by mass. A reinforcing fabric is adhered to a surface of the belt body on a toothed side, with a reinforcing fabric adhesion coat interposed between the reinforcing fabric and the belt body. The reinforcing fabric adhesion coat is made of a rubber composition containing hydrogenated nitrile-butadiene rubber as a main ingredient of a rubber component.

Abstract

A V-ribbed belt has a cord made of polyester-based fibers, the total fiber fineness of which is 2200 dtex or more and 5500 dtex or less. A fiber fineness of the cord per belt width corresponding to a single V-shaped rib ranges from 10000 dtex to 19000 dtex. A belt dry-heat shrinkage force per belt width corresponding to a single V-shaped rib is 44 N or more. The belt dry-heat shrinkage force is a load increase with respect to a belt length of 300 mm in 30 minutes after applying, in an atmosphere of 150° C., a load of 6N in the belt longitudinal direction and holding the belt.

A tension detecting portion is provided at the coupling portions. The tension detecting portion extends, at a predetermined vertical distance from a line connecting the through holes of the pair of insertion portions to each other, in a width direction of the lashing belt. In a state where the lashing belt is inserted to extend through the pair of insertion portions, a surface of the lashing belt is brought into contact with the tension detecting portion, and the tension detecting portion is configured to be broken when a predetermined or greater tension is applied to the lashing belt.

Abstract

A capacitive sensor includes a sensor sheet having a central electrode layer and a measuring instrument. A first dielectric layer is laminated on the upper surface of the central electrode layer. A second dielectric layer is laminated on the lower surface of the central electrode layer. A first outer electrode layer is formed on the surface of the first dielectric layer. A second outer electrode layer is formed on the surface of the second dielectric layer. The central electrode layer and the first outer electrode layer face each other at a first detection portion. The central electrode layer and the second outer electrode layer face each other at a second detection portion. Capacitances of the detection portions change with deformation. Abstract

A sensor device includes a sensor element, a converter, and an output unit. The sensor element includes a sheet-like dielectric layer including an elastomer composition and a top electrode layer and a bottom electrode layer each including an electroconductive composition containing carbon nanotubes. The top and the bottom electrode layers are formed on a top surface and a bottom surface of the dielectric layer, respectively, and are at least partially opposed to each other across the dielectric layer. The at least partially opposed portions of the top and the bottom electrode layers constitute a detection portion, and the dielectric layer reversibly deforms to change an area of a main surface of the dielectric layer. The converter electrically is connected to the sensor element and converts capacitance at the detection portion that varies in accordance with the deformation of the dielectric layer to electric characteristics.

Abstract

A power transmission belt has a cord embedded in a belt body made of rubber. The cord is configured as a plied yarn with a total fiber fineness of 4000 to 5000 dtex. The plied yarn consists of four primarily-twisted yarns, each being obtained by subjecting a bundle of para-aramid fibers with a fiber fineness of 1000 to 1250 dtex to a primary twist in one direction at a twist coefficient of 1200 to 1350, and these four primarily-twisted yarns are then secondarily twisted in the opposite direction to the primary twist at a twist coefficient of 900 to 1100, thereby obtaining the plied yarn.

Abstract

A power transmission belt has a front rubber face and a back rubber surface. The back rubber surface has an uneven surface of rubber which, when the power transmission belt is wound around a flat pulley, comes in contact with the flat pulley. The uneven surface of rubber has a pattern created by a mold having an impression of a surface of a woven fabric or a knitted fabric. The impression has projected parts and recessed parts, and each of the projected parts has a flat top surface. The power transmission belt is wound around a number of pulleys in a belt transmission system in which the pulleys include a flat pulley with which the uneven surface of the power transmission belt comes in contact.

Abstract

A toothed belt includes an endless back portion, a plurality of belt teeth arranged on a face of the back portion at predetermined intervals in a longitudinal direction of the back portion; and a core made of an elastic knitted or unwoven fabric and embedded in the back portion. Both of the belt teeth and the back portion are made of rubber. The core is not exposed from inter-tooth portions which are located between the belt teeth. In the core, a difference between the position of a point that is closest to the belt teeth in a belt thickness direction and the position of a point that is closest to a back face of the belt in the belt thickness direction is limited to 0.5 mm or less.
