Abstract
The present invention relates to an on-board device for combating boarding of a maritime platform from the flank (B), comprising a water-jet cannon (8) carried by a support (18) and supplied by a pressurized water line (2), characterized in that said cannon is provided with at least one motor for rotation of the jet around two axes, and in that said support is provided with a mobile arm (7) associated with at least one stop and enabling displacement of the cannon from an inward retracted position into an outward deployed position in which the jet can be pointed in the direction of the flank (B) of the platform. The invention further relates to a method for combating boarding by means of said device.
