Abstract

The invention relates to a system for the detection of a shunt on a railway track comprising two rails, said system comprising: a portion of rails (2a, 2b), insulated from the rest of the rail by a joint (10, 20) at each of the two ends thereof; an emitter (4) connected to one of the ends of the aforementioned portion of rails (2a, 2b) and configured to apply a voltage between the two portions of rails (2a, 2b) and to induce the passage of a current; and a receiver (6) connected to the other end of the portion of rails (2a, 2b) and configured to detect a power between the two portions of rails (2a, 2b). According to the invention, the portion of rails (2a, 2b), the joints (10, 20), the emitter (4) and the receiver (6) form an electric track circuit (1) that can receive the current emitted by the emitter (4). In addition, the receiver (6) can detect a shunt (30) linking the rails of the portion of rails (2a, 2b) when the impedance of the shunt (30) is below a theoretical limit resistance for detection of the shunt of the track circuit (1). The system is characterised in that the track circuit (1) is configured such that the impedance of a shunt (30) connecting the rails of the portion of rails (2a, 2b) is less than the theoretical limit resistance of the track circuit (1) regardless of the position of the shunt (30) in the track circuit (1).

Abstract

The foam of the invention includes a mixture of silica, a polyorganosiloxane resin and a polyorganosiloxane curing agent, as well as an added thermal insulator and an added adhesion agent. The thermal insulator consists of ammonium polyphosphate. The foam is particularly well suited as a filler, for partitioning and in railway applications.

Abstract

The system comprises a management module (13), all-or-nothing inputs (11) representative of external events (en) and all-or-nothing outputs (17) controlling external actuators (4, 5), automatic modules (15) for executing predetermined tasks (n) so as, in response to said events (en), to act on said outputs (17), the set of states of the inputs (11) and outputs (17) at a given instant (Ti) constituting an instantaneous overall state (Fi) of the system (3), the set of states of the inputs (11) and outputs (17) that is obtained after executing a task (n) constituting a stabilized overall state (ESj) of the system (3). The management module (13) only permits (20) the execution of a task (n) corresponding to an arbitrary external event (en) if no task (n-1) corresponding to another event (en-1) is currently executing and the action of the automatic modules (15) only leads to a finite number of overall states (Fi).
