Abstract
Identity document comprising a data medium with data. These data comprise an image of a face. This image consists of two component images that are observed at different angles. By simultaneously viewing the two images, the person studying the identity document can obtain further information about the face. This is possible because the two images are applied at a relatively small angle of 5° to 20°.

Abstract
Card consisting of a base layer (11) to which an aluminum foil (14), is attached. In addition, a protective layer (10) is provided. A part of the aluminum foil is removed with a laser beam to expose information (8, 9, 13, 16) lying therebelow. Further information is optionally attached after the removal of the aluminum foil using a part of the laser beam. The underlying information extends past said opening, i.e. merely a part of the information lying below the metal foil is visible once the opening has been formed therein. Forming openings in various cards at various locations allows a varying appearance of the cards to be provided, starting from a universal card. A card of this type can be used for identification purposes.

Abstract
Book-like construction (1) such as a passport with a number of pages including a non-hinged holder page. The non-hinged holder page (2) is composed of a relatively stiff material and has to be connected by means of a separate hinged part (5) to the remainder of . the book-like construction (1) . The hinged part (5) according to the invention is made of a fabric-reinforced plastic material in which the plastic can be fusible with the plastic of the non-hinged holder page (2) . The fixing is carried out ultrasonically, and more particularly by providing surface irregularities on one of the two parts to be fixed to each other.

Abstract
Identity document and also method for producing said identity document. Such a document or bank card is provided with a hole pattern acting as a security feature, for example depicting the face of the rightful holder of that document. In order to prevent cracks or other damage at the position of the hole pattern, it is proposed that a tissue layer be placed at that point. The tissue layer consists of a tissue web made up of intersecting multifilament threads. If a staggered grid pattern of the perforation has to be obtained, the thread directions preferably extend at an angle of approximately 60 or 90°.

Abstract
Identity document consisting of a support and a chip accommodated therein. The support may be produced by laminating different layers, one or more of these layers being provided with an opening for accommodating the chip. Laminating or applying the plastic in another way takes place at a relatively high temperature. During cooling, the support and the chip exhibit different shrinking properties, resulting in stresses which may lead to cracks. It is proposed to provide an auxiliary layer between the layer directly adjoining the chip and the subsequent layer. This auxiliary layer consists of a rubber-like material having a thermal coefficient of expansion which is greater than that of the adjoining two layers. This results in a prestress in the support during the cooling which follows the lamination, thus preventing the formation of cracks. In addition such an auxiliary layer acts as a stop layer for any crack formation which might occur in the first layer directly adjoining the chip. After all, cracks occurring in the latter cannot be easily transferred to the adjoining second layer due to the presence of the auxiliary layer which, as a result of its properties, distributes the stresses evenly over such a layer.

Abstract
Identity document comprising a support and a chip accommodated therein. The support may be produced by the lamination of various layers, one or more of the layers being provided with an opening for holding the chip. The plastics material is laminated or otherwise attached at a comparatively high temperature. During cooling, the support and the chip display different shrinkage characteristics and in order as far as possible to prevent tensions thus produced in the plastics material of the support, it is proposed to surround the chip with a material which reduces such tensions. A material of this type may be a porous material which is compressible, such as a material obtained by foaming. It is also possible to use for this purpose a non-compressible material having a high coefficient of expansion, more particularly a coefficient of expansion greater than the plastics material of the support, or a material which displays additional shrinkage in the cooling period as a result of a chemical reaction (chemical reactions) or a physical transition (physical transitions). A buffer layer of this type may be attached by attaching to the chip material which forms the subsequent buffer layer. In particular, the material may be attached as a film layer and when the plastics material of the support is attached around the chip, the material spreads out.
