DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MAINTAINING KNIFE RINGS OF KNIFE-RING FLAKERS
The invention relates to a device and a method for receiving and rotating a knife ring during the maintenance of a knife ring of a knife-ring flaker for comminuting materials, comprising a holding device, preferably at least two interspaced holding devices, which receive the knife ring (1), for rotatably mounting the knife ring (1) in a bogie (11). The device according to the invention is distinguished in that the holding devices are suitable for mounting different knife rings (1). In a preferred embodiment, bearings (16) are arranged in the holding device for the mounting of different knife rings (1) and can be adapted to the particular knife ring (1) with respect to the position, orientation or properties thereof and/or can be replaced. The invention further relates to a method for receiving and rotating a knife ring during maintenance, wherein, before receiving a knife ring (1), the holding devices are aligned with the properties of the knife ring (1) and, if required, the holding device (1622) is adapted to the knife ring (1).

Abstract
The invention relates to a process for setting up a knife ring of a knife-ring chipper for comminuting materials, wherein in a first part (37) of the process, knife packets (4) consisting of a clamping plate (6) and a blunt knife (2) are removed from a knife ring (1) by an industrial robot (10) and knife packets (5) having a sharp knife (2) are inserted into the knife ring (1), wherein in a second part (38) of the process, knife packets (4) are disassembled into a blunt knife (2) and a clamping plate (6) and sharp knives (3) are assembled using a clamping plate (6) to form a knife packet (5), and wherein in a third part (39) of the process the blunt knives (2) are sharpened to form sharp knives (3). The problem addressed by the invention is that of providing a process and a device in which highly precise arranging of the sharp knives (3) or the knife packets (5) in the knife ring and/or high-speed exchanging of the knife packets of a knife ring is made possible. The invention also relates to a device for setting up a knife ring, which device is also able to solve this problem.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTINUOUSLY PRODUCING MATERIAL PANELS, CHIP REMOVER, AND CHIP REMOVAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The invention relates to a system and a method for continuously producing material panels, to a chip remover, and to a system. In a system for continuously producing material panels using a press for example, the invention consists in that the system (35) is equipped with a chip removal region (40) with a controller (39) and/or at least one chip remover (8) with a controller (17), wherein the controller (30) of the system (35) is operatively connected to the controller (39) for the chip removal region (40) and/or to the controller (17) for the chip remover (7). According to the invention, a potential chip remover with cutting tools for comminuting material has at least sensors for generating management values of the supply device, the heavy material separator (4), the discharge device, and/or the material itself, wherein the sensors are operatively connected to the controller (17) in order to analyze the measurement values, and the controller (17) is operatively connected to actuators and/or adjustable machine elements on the chip remover (8) in order to control or regulate the chip remover (8), in particular the controller is operatively connected to the supply device, the heavy material separator (4), the discharge device for the material, and/or the drive (1623) of the chip remover.
The invention relates to a comminuting machine comprising a feed chute for feeding material (24), the feed chute being arranged in a feed hopper (7), and an inclined sliding surface (9) with a cleaning face (18) for separating fine material (22) from the material (24). The invention is characterised in that the cleaning face (18) has raised sections (17), preferably transversely to the sliding direction (25), for producing one or more movements (19), in particular flying movements, of the fed material (24). In particular, openings (20) can also be provided behind these raised sections (17) in order to separate off the fine material (22) that is knocked off material (24) bouncing over the raised sections (17).
The invention relates to a comminuting machine (8) comprising a rotor system, in particular a knife ring flaker, wherein the feedstock is conveyed pneumatically in the axial direction into the central region of the rotor (10) and is supplied in the radial direction to the comminuting tools which are arranged in a coronary fashion around the rotor (10). In order to achieve a uniform wear of the axially extending blades in devices of this type, it is proposed to provide an insert (15) in the central region (14), which is rotatably driven by a motor (22) and has separate chambers (16, 17), with which the feedstock entering therein is discharged to axially and radially different regions. Said insert (15) can be designed in particular as a rotor which comprises a plurality of chambers which have a substantially circle sector-shaped cross-section.
