Abstract

The invention relates to a securing clamp for glass tubes for machines which can be loaded with glass tubes for producing glass containers, comprising: a central loading channel (52) for the glass tubes; a plurality of adjustable clamping jaws (4) which are arranged at the lower end of the loading channel and distributed around the opening thereof, the distance of the clamping jaws to the centre line of the loading channel being adjustable; an actuating element (1) for jointly adjusting the clamping jaws; a coupling device which couples the adjustable clamping jaws (4) to the actuating element (1); and guides (21) to guide an adjustment motion of the clamping jaws perpendicularly and radially inwards with respect to the centre line of the loading channel (52). According to the invention, the coupling device comprises levers (3) which are each connected in an articulated manner to the actuating element (1) and an allocated clamping jaw (4). The levers and their limb lengths provide parameters with which a characteristic of the clamping force of the securing clamp can be suitably adjusted for a wide range of diameters of glass tubes. The coupling device preferably continuously reduces a ratio between a radially acting clamping force of the clamping jaws and an elastic return force of the springs with decreasing opening width of the clamping jaws.

Abstract

The invention discloses a device for continuously thermally treating pharmaceutical glass containers (2), having a housing (60, 61), in which a continuous conveying gap (5) is formed between an entry region (3) and an exit region (4), a conveying apparatus (6), which is designed such that the glass containers (2) rest without touching one another on a surface of a driven conveying means of the conveying apparatus and are continuously conveyed from the entry region (3) to the exit region (4), a heating zone (11), which is designed such that the glass containers are heated to a maximum temperature in the heating zone (11) when passing through the conveying gap, and a first cooling zone (12) which, viewed in the conveying direction (x), is directly connected to the heating zone (11) and is designed such that the glass containers cool at a first cooling rate in the first cooling zone (12) when passing through the conveying gap. According to the invention, a separating plate (20, 25, 30, 43) is provided at least above the conveying apparatus (6), said separating plate being able to be inductively heated. According to the invention, the temperature conditions can therefore easily be kept more uniform. At the same time, impurities are prevented from entering the glass containers.

Abstract

In a method for integrally forming end portions on glass containers (5) for storing pharmaceutical active compounds, which are produced by hot forming from a glass tube (14), an end portion (8) having an opening, in particular a neck having a neck opening, is formed at one end of the glass containers by hot forming and interaction of a centrally arranged opening/shaping tool (40) with at least one moulding tool (50). In the method, dimension data are provided for each particular glass tube (14) and the position of the at least one moulding tool (50) is adjusted by a motor in an axial direction (z) of the glass containers in response to the provided dimension data for the particular glass tube (14). As a result, fluctuations in the glass volume of the glass tube to be processed are compensated in the region of the hot forming.

Abstract

The invention relates to a hot-forming device for producing glass containers from a glass tube, comprising a rotary table (12, 23) mounted in a rotatably movable manner and an associated drive motor (21, 41) for driving the rotary table (12, 32), a plurality of holding chucks (16, 36) for holding workpieces (60, 61) being arranged in a distributed manner around the periphery of the rotary table (12, 32). According to the invention, a coolant channel (126, 127, 136) is embodied in the rotary table (12, 32), said coolant channel being liquid-tight and containing a coolant that flows therethrough for cooling the rotary table (12, 32). The cooling enables the easy provision of stable thermal conditions in the region of the rotary table, particularly in sections of the rotary table with high heat input. This can be achieved only a short time after a start-up or a temporary interruption of the hot-forming device. As a result of the constant thermal conditions, the production yield and operating time can be significantly increased.

Abstract

The invention relates to a carrier of a holding structure for holding a plurality of containers for pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic purposes, in which carrier openings or receptacles (13) for accommodating the containers are formed. Holding means (26; 27; 70) for holding the containers are provided at the openings or receptacles. The holdings means (26; 27; 70) can selectively assume two different, stable positions, namely a first stable position, in which the containers can be inserted into the openings or receptacles (13) without friction, and a second stable position, in which the containers are held in the respective openings or receptacles (13) by frictional or interlocking connection. The containers can be reliably inserted into the openings or receptacles without material abrasion. In the opened insertion position of the holding means, a large number of containers can be simultaneously inserted into the openings or receptacles without large forces acting on the holding structure for this purpose. Furthermore, possible deformation or twisting of the holding structure during use can be considerably reduced according to the invention.

Abstract

A transport formation 1 for receiving a plurality of bottles 60 for pharmaceutical, medical or cosmetic purposes under non-sterile conditions is composed of a receiving part 10 and of a bearing part 30 connected releasably to the latter, wherein the receiving part 10 has a plurality of frustoconical receivers 14 in a regular arrangement, such that the bottles 60 can be received, in the receivers of the receiving part, in an upright position and without direct contact between adjacent bottles. The transport formation has locking formations 21, 23 for releasably locking the receiving part to the bearing part. According to the invention, the receivers 14 are adapted to the height of the bottles such that the bottles 60 can be received fully inside the latter, wherein the bearing part 30 is composed of a base plate 31 with a flat bearing surface facing towards the receivers, such that, after the locking has been released, the bottles 60 can be moved freely on the bearing surface of the base plate 31 and, by displacement of the receiving part 10 relative to the bearing part 30, can be pushed by the bearing part. Receiving part and/or bearing part can be designed cost-effectively in one piece by thermoforming of a plastic, in particular by thermoforming of a thin film or a thin-film sheet.
