Abstract
A standard (10) of a scaffolding system (1), comprising an elongate tubular wall (12), having a central longitudinal axis (Ls), and at least one supporting projection (14) that protrudes radially outwardly from said tubular wall (12). When the standard (10) is in a vertical orientation, the supporting projection (14), seen in a tangential direction (Ts) relative to the longitudinal axis (Ls), forms an annular supporting surface (16) that encircles the tubular wall (12) and that defines alternating elevations (18) and depressions (20). Also disclosed is a ledger (30) with ledger couplings (40) configured for cooperation with said standard (10).

Abstract
A scaffolding system provided with standards each with an imaginary standard longitudinal central axis, first ledgers each with two extremities, first ledger couplings each connected at the extremity of a first ledger to the first ledger and which are configured for connecting the extremity of the first ledger to a standard, supporting projections which, viewed in the direction of the standard longitudinal central axis, are provided at regular distances on the outer surface of a said standard, wherein with a first ledger in a condition coupled to a standard, the first ledger coupling of the respective first ledger rests on a said supporting projection. Also, a coupling, a ledger and a standard intended for such a scaffolding system are disclosed.

Abstract
A forkhead (100) for use in a modular scaffolding system, comprising: - an axially extending shaft (102) having a first end (104) and a second end (106); - a fork structure (110), connected to the first end of the shaft; - coupling means (122, 130, 132), provided on the shaft and configured to connect an end of at least one ledger (180) to the shaft in an axial ledger connection range (109); and - a mounting assembly (106, 150) configured to pivotally mount the forkhead to a standard (160). Also disclosed is a method of constructing a modular scaffold frame (190) using a plurality of disclosed forkheads (100).
