Abstract

A cross runner (30) for a grid of profiles of a suspended ceiling system (1), the cross runner (30) being provided with a connector (40) insertable into an opening (12) of another runner (10) of the grid of profiles. The cross runner (30) has central web (33) comprising two layers of material and is provided with a top bulb (31) and two flanges (32) at a bottom portion thereof. The connector (40) is arranged at a first end (34) of the cross runner (30) and comprises a first tongue (41) and at least one additional tongue (42). The first tongue (41) is resiliently displaceable in a first lateral direction (D1) of the cross runner (30) and is provided with a wing shaped locking tab (50) protruding in a opposite second lateral direction (D2) of the cross runner (30). The wing shaped locking tab (50) is configured to engage with a side edge portion (11) of the opening (12) in response to insertion of the connector (40) into the opening (12) such that the first tongue (41) is resiliently displaced in the first lateral direction (D1) in order to allow the wing shaped locking tab (50) to be passed through the opening (12). The wing shaped locking tab (50) has a trailing edge (52) comprising a straight locking section which extends perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (L) of the cross runner. The wing shaped locking tab (50) has a leading edge (51) comprising a straight engagement section which extends at an acute angle (C) to the longitudinal axis (L) of the cross runner (30). Abstract

A method is for installing a ceiling system attached to a structural ceiling surface. The method includes illuminating, in sequence and by a projector, different subsets of a set of optical sensors separately arranged in a known distribution pattern on the structural ceiling surface. Each optical sensor of the set of optical sensors is arranged to output a temporal signal indicative of a level of illumination. The method also includes determining an image plane relative to the projector based on the known distribution pattern of the set of optical sensors and the outputted temporal signals of each of the optical sensors, and displaying, by the projector, an image indicative of installation locations of the ceiling system at the image plane.

Abstract

A method for coating a tile element includes providing a tile element made of a compressed fibre material having a porosity in the range of 0.92-0.99 and applying a water-based coating material to a side edge surface of the tile element extending between two opposite major surfaces of the tile element. The applying is performed by an applicator head of a continuous vacuum coating apparatus that applies the water-based coating material to the side edge surface of the tile element and removes excess through a vacuum. The water-based coating material is applied at a feeding rate of the tile element relative the applicator head in the range of 25-150 m/min. The water-based coating material forms a coating layer including an outer coating layer and an inner coating layer penetrating the side edge surface. The inner coating layer has penetration depth of at least 100 μm.

Each string like suspension member (104a-e, 204a-c, 304, 404, 504a-c, 604a-c) is attachable to said ceiling tile (102a-e, 402, 502a-c) at two attachment points (106a-e, 406). Said ceiling tile (102a-e, 402, 502a-c) is suspendable in said body unit(108a-e, 208a-c, 308, 508a-c, 608 a-c) by means of said at least two string like suspension members (104a-e, 204a-c, 304, 404, 504a-c, 604a-c). Said body unit (108a-e, 208a-c, 308, 508a-c, 608 a-c) for each of said at least two string like suspension members (104a-e, 204a-c, 304, 404, 504a-c, 604a-c) defines a suspension member receiving path (205a-c, 305) for reception thereof. The present invention also relates to a corresponding method.
