An exemplary a display apparatus (2) includes a display panel (21) and a height adjusting device (25). The height adjusting device includes a base (26), a supporting member (27), a locking unit (30), and an elastic member (28). The display panel is fixed to the locking unit. The supporting member is fixed on the base. The supporting member includes two generally vertical friction grooves (2723, 2725). A depth of one of the friction grooves decreases with increasing height above the base, and a depth of the other friction groove increases with increasing height above the base. The locking unit is accommodated in the supporting member. The locking unit includes two sliders (33, 35) corresponding to the two friction grooves of the supporting member respectively. One of the sliders abuts a corresponding one of the friction grooves. The elastic member spans between the locking unit and the base.

An exemplary backlight control circuit (20) includes at least two sampling circuits (21), at least two feedback circuits (22), and a PWM IC (23). Each of the sampling circuits includes a sampling output (210) and a backlight lamp (211). The PWM IC includes a current sense pin (230). The at least two feedback circuits correspond to the at least two sampling circuits, respectively. Each of the feedback circuits includes a resistor (222) and a diode (223) electrically coupled in parallel. The sampling output is configured to output a first voltage when the backlight lamp is in a normal working state, and output a second voltage when the backlight lamp has an open circuit. One terminal of the diode is electrically coupled to the sampling output of a corresponding one of the sampling circuits, and an opposite terminal of the diode is electrically coupled to the current sense pin.

A method for fixing a flexible circuit board (FPC) of a display module includes providing a housing having at least a fixing pin, providing a display panel and an FPC having at least a fixing hole corresponding to the fixing pin, disposing the display panel and the FPC on the housing and folding back the FPC on another side of the housing such that the fixing pin passes through the fixing hole, and performing a hot mounting process to the fixing pin to enlarge the top end of the fixing pin to press the FPC onto the housing.
