A toy character includes a body, a first propeller assembly, a second propeller assembly, and a motor. The body extends in a longitudinal direction and has a longitudinal axis. The first propeller assembly is mounted to the body to rotate in a first direction about the longitudinal axis and positioned at a mid-portion of the body. The second propeller assembly is mounted to the body to rotate in a second direction about the longitudinal axis and spaced apart from the first propeller assembly. The second propeller assembly is mechanically linked to the first propeller assembly for counter-rotation in the second direction when the first propeller assembly rotates in the first direction. The motor is in communication with the first and second propeller assemblies to drive rotations in the first direction and the second direction.
Toys, games, playthings and novelties; Parlour games; Apparatus for a game; Skill action game; equipment sold as a unit for a parlour game; electronically controlled game; none of the aforementioned goods being games of chance involving monetary prizes or in relation to games of chance involving monetary prizes.
A device for launching and catching an object is provided. The device may include a body having an inlet, an outlet, and a channel therebetween. A propulsion mechanism may be housed within the body and include a motor. The propulsion mechanism may receive an object traveling at a first speed within the channel and from the inlet and to adjust the speed of the object to a second speed enroute to the outlet such that the object is launched into the air. A receiving funnel defined by the body may catch the object as the object descends such that the object is directed back into the inlet. A method of playing a catch game is also provided which may include one or more devices for launching and catching an object.
A flying toy figure is provided which may include a doll body extending in a longitudinal direction and may have a longitudinal axis which is substantially vertical. A first propeller assembly may be mounted to rotate in a first direction about the longitudinal axis of the doll body and may be positioned longitudinally along a mid-portion of the doll body. A second propeller assembly mechanically linked to the first propeller assembly may be mounted to rotate in a second direction about the longitudinal axis of the doll body and is positioned below the first propeller assembly. A rechargeable power source may be in communication with a motor to drive the first and second propeller assemblies. One or more sensors may be included with the figure to detect a surface external to the doll body and may be configured to provide a surface detection signal. A controller may be in communication with the motor and one or more sensors to adjust a speed of the motor in response to receiving the surface detection signal from the switch. Adjusting the motor speed adjusts a counter-rotational speed of the first and second propeller assemblies.
In one embodiment there is provided a vehicle having a chassis and a body assembly rotatably attached about a pivot mechanism located between front wheels. The mechanism first causes the back of the body assembly to move away from the chassis. Once it reaches a top position, the weight of the body assembly causes the vehicle to rotate lifting the rear wheels off the ground. The mechanism can then switch directions, causing the rear wheels of the chassis to move towards the body assembly.
An automated nail polishing is provided. The device includes an arm having a plurality of linkages rotatably connected to each other. The end of the arm includes a port to removably receive a brush. The linkages are capable of controlled movement through an integrated circuit and motors. A hand platform is also provided with a groove and sensor for receiving a user finger. When the finger is placed in the groove, the integrated circuit can move the arm to dip the brush into a liquid receptacle and then move the arm to brush the liquid onto a user's fingernail.
A toy vehicle is provided having a wheel base, a chassis, and a cab. The wheel base has pairs of rear wheels. The chassis is attached to the wheel base about a horizontal rotational axis which is capable of raising and lowering the chassis from a first position to a second position. The cab is pivotally attached to the chassis such that the cab is able to remain in a substantially horizontal position when the chassis is moved. The cab further includes a pair of joints that secure arms, which have at the end a wheel. The joint enables the arms to move when the chassis moves. When moving the cab, the vehicle transforms between the first and second positions, where the wheels attached to the arms are able to move with the cab.
A multi-player interactive card game, preferably having character cards with images of people with different occupations and different types of animals. An oval face cutout is included on each of the character cards. Game play involves impersonations and guessing along with prompts for players to raise and position the character cards such that a player's face completes a visual image of the identity of the character card.
In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention a two-wheel vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a pair of wheel housings, each wheel housing having an inner circumference and an outer circumference, and further having an annular gear rack being positioned on the inner circumference and a wheel secured on the outer circumference. A motor mechanism drives a gear train that is meshed to the annular gear racks. A chassis is connected to a frame and interconnects the pair of wheel housings to the frame such that the frame moves independently from the pair of wheel housings. A tilting mechanism tilts the frame about the chassis such that the vehicle turns in the direction of the tilt. A stabilizing mechanism, when the frame is tilting, counteracts the forces on the vehicle to assist in maintaining an upright position while the vehicle is turning.
A puzzle or gaming device is provided with a polyhedron housing having a plurality of substantially planar faces, each face includes a plurality of tiles and at least one opening. A plurality of response units are secured separately about each opening such that a top edge defined by the response unit is positioned in the openings and substantially flushed with a surface of the tiles adjacent the opening thereby maintaining a substantially planer face. A processor is provided and includes a pre-programmed gaming content stored on a memory. The process is in communication with light sources and switches, such that the pre-programmed gaming content when activated by the processor randomly activates or deactivates light sources promptly a user to respond by maneuvering the polyhedron housing such that the line of sight of a light source changes wherein the user is able to respond to the pre-programmed gaming content.
