Abstract

A metering unit for metering flowable solid particles is proposed, having a metering housing that has an inlet and an outlet, and having a rotated cell wheel that is mounted in the metering housing and has a plurality of radially extending cell walls that bound the cells of the cell wheel in the circumferential direction, wherein at least the cell walls of the cell wheel are made from an elastically resilient material and in each case two adjacent cell walls are connected together in the region of their radially inner ends by means of a respective cell bottom. Abstract

A method and pneumatic spreading machine control/regulate a metering element. A transfer chamber downstream of the metering element transfers metered material to a conveying line for spreading. A blower charges the conveying line with an air stream. Spreading elements are downstream of the conveying line. Calibration includes actuating metering elements, charged with a particular type and of material, over a predetermined test duration with a predetermined operating parameter. A mass of material metered during calibration is gravimetrically detected downstream of the metering element and upstream of the transfer chamber or in the transfer chamber, following which the material is transferred to the conveying line and dispensed. Abstract

Abstract

A distribution machine, in particular in the form of a spreader or seed drill, is proposed.
