Abstract

In order to create an easy indicator (20) for detecting penetration of air and/or dampness into a vacuum, pressure or modified atmosphere packaging, in particular into a vacuum insulation panel (10), wherein the penetrating air and/or dampness causes a change of the physical properties of the indicator (20), it is disclosed that the indicator (20) has a material which reacts chemically with the penetrating air and/or dampness, and that at least one physical property of the indicator (20) can be changed by the chemical reaction. In particular, the material is formed as a barium layer, which has a defined dielectric constant. Furthermore, an associated vacuum, pressure or modified atmosphere packaging, in particular for a vacuum insulation panel (10) with evacuated heat insulating body and shell is disclosed, wherein the shell is metalized in a largely transparent manner, the shell for detecting the changed physical properties in the region of the indicator (20) is, however, transparently masked and covered with an airtight transparent material.

Abstract

The invention relates to a vacuum insulation panel (10) comprising a support element (11) in a gas-tight jacket (20) which has at least two components (21, 22), especially film sections that are joined by means of spaced-apart sealing seams/flaps (25a, b). The sealing seams/flaps (25a, b) are positioned especially on a main surface (12) of the vacuum insulation panel (10). Also disclosed is a method for producing the vacuum insulation panel (10) according to the invention.

Abstract

In order to create a stable molded thermal insulation body (10) with substantially dust-free surfaces, particularly with a microporous supporting body (20), wherein the supporting body (20) has at least one layer (30) on the outside surfaces (22), it is proposed according to invention to form the layer (30) by applying a suspension, which is made of phosphate-based binding agents, or a combination of phosphate and silica-based binding agents. The invention further relates to a method for producing a molded thermal insulation body (10).

Abstract

To provide a cost-effective, stable vacuum insulation panel (10) having at least one lead-through (20) in a main surface (16) of an insulating material supporting body (14) and having a vacuum-tight film envelope (17), it is proposed that the lead-through (20) is formed as a bush (30) with an outer side (32) facing the insulating material supporting body (14) and that on the first bush end (36) is provided a first, preformed collar (37) extending radially away from the bush (30) into the main surface (16) and, opposite said collar, is provided a second collar (39) formed by thermal deformation of the second bush end (38), wherein the vacuum-tight film envelope (17) is welded to the collars (37, 39). A corresponding method for producing the panel is also described.

Abstract

For the simple production of an exactly fitting vacuum insulator (1) comprising upper and lower flat sides and narrower end sides, wherein an open-cell, open-pore, microporous and/or fibrous core (2) is completely enclosed by a gastight multilayer film (3), the end edges (e.g. 5 and 6) of which are sealed together, it is proposed that a sealing seam (4, 4') is provided on each of the flat sides (18, 18') of the vacuum insulator (1). It is preferred for the two sealing seams (4, 4') on the upper and lower flat sides (18, 18') to be arranged off-centre, in particular arranged offset oppositely in relation to each other, each by approximately 1/3 of the overall width of the vacuum insulator (1). Moreover, a corresponding production method is proposed.
