Abstract
The present invention pertains to a chain link for an anti-skid chain, wherein the chain link is designed as a straight chain link with an essentially oval shape with an upper and a lower side wall. The outer cross-sectional area of the chain link has a half-round design and the inner cross-sectional area has an angular design. At the same time, the present invention pertains to an anti-skid chain with a chain mesh, which has chain links according to the present invention.

Abstract
The invention relates to a chain link for an anti-skid chain for vehicle tires, whereby protruding studs arranged on the chain link, and at least one stud is arranged on the lengthwise side of the chain link and the longitudinal central axis of the stud is inclined with respect to the central plane of the chain link. The chain link is thus implemented as either a drawn, milled or forged chain link. The invention further relates to an anti-skid chain that exhibits chain links according to the invention.

Abstract
In an anti-skid chain with a continuous chain mesh with track crosses and a side cable fitted on a tire side when mounted, e.g. an outer side cable fitted on the outer side of the tire, as well as a tension cable fitted on the other tire side, e.g. an inner cable lying on the inner side of the tire, there are connecting elements on the tension cable, into each of which either a hook connecting the tension cable with at least one track cross or chain parts of the continuous chain mesh are directly hooked, and which are clamped on a sheathing of the tension cable secured against slippage. At least one protrusion for fixing or clamping a sheathing of the tension cable can additionally by provided on an inner surface of the connecting elements facing towards the tension cable.

Abstract
A turnbuckle for an anti-skid chain that can be mounted on the wheel of a vehicle. A tension cable is connected inside the turnbuckle housing to a winding roll that is pre-stressed in the winding-up direction and mounted so that it can be rotated about its axle. A ratchet wheel with at least one ratchet catch allocated to it is provided on the winding roll and the tension cable can be blocked against its direction of tension by gripping of the ratchet catch into the ratchet wheel. The ratchet catch is moved at least incrementally outwards from the idle position when the wheel isn't moving, in which it is disengaged from the ratchet wheel and the tension cable is not blocked, under the action of the centrifugal force upon rotation of the wheel, and this movement effects a gripping of the ratchet catch into the ratchet wheel.

Abstract
The invention relates to a wear element, which can be mounted on a connecting ring (3) of an anti-skid chain (1) connecting the chain lengths (2) of a chain mesh with each other, wherein the wear element (4) comprises at least two parts (5, 6) that can be connected to each other and has limbs (7, 8) disposed in a star shape, and wherein the at least two parts (5, 6) at least in some areas comprise connecting sections that are configured congruent with each other and that can be joined, wherein the connecting sections are configured to be self-centering, in a connected state of the wear element the limbs of the one part running congruently with the limbs of the other part.

Abstract
The invention relates to a turnbuckle (4) for securing two wire-shaped end sections (6, 7) of a lateral strand (3) of a non-skid chain (1) for a wheel of a vehicle, the lateral strand having a pulling element (5), comprising a housing (11, 21, 41), in which at least one displaceable retaining piece (15, 25, 45) is received, wherein the at least one wire-shaped end section can be temporarily secured by means of the at least one retaining piece. A displaceable mass piece (12, 22, 42) is disposed in the housing (11, 21, 41), the piece being displaced radially outward, at least in sections, from an idle position when the tire is at a standstill under the action of the centrifugal force upon rotation of the wheel, and this displacement brings about a blocking of the at least one end section (6, 7) of the tensioning element.
