Preparation for Treating Androgen Deficiency in Women
A biologically active food additive, comprising drone brood homogenate in the daily amount of between 10 and 600 mg which can be combined with a calcium compound selected from calcium carbonate, calcium citrate, calcium gluconate, calcium aspartate, calcium amino acid chelate, calcium fumarate, calcium succinate, calcium ascorbate, calcium phosphate, or any combination thereof, the calcium compound content being from 16.67 to 93.75 wt. %; the content of drone brood being from 6.25 to 83.33 wt. %. Trials showed that administering the preparation contributes to the normalization of androgens in women resulting in the overall health improvement and disappearance or decrease of clinical signs of androgen deficiency, as well as sustaining the normal testosterone level, compensating for the deficit of calcium in the body, facilitating more efficient assimilation of calcium and retention thereof in the bony tissue for a long time.

The invention related to medicine, in particular, to a method and a preparation for preventing and treating atypical osteoporosis with normal or increased bone tissue mineralization with the presence of cavities in trabecular bone sections (and conditions similar thereto involving excess mass and metabolic syndrome). The method comprises administrating a preparation comprising from 10 mg and 1000 mg of drone brood per day and from 50 IU and 100,000 IU of vitamin D or vitamins of the group D and/or active metabolites thereof per day. The preparation comprising drone brood and vitamin D or vitamins of the group D and/or active metabolites thereof can be in a powder, tablet or capsule form. The method and the preparation provide redistributing calcium in the body, reducing mineralization of soft tissues, vessels and other organs, and filling cavities in trabecular bone.
METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING OSTEOPOROSIS BY A METHOD FOR DEFINING THE DYNAMICS OF CLOSING CAVITY FORMATIONS IN ORDER TO ASSESS THE EFFECTIVENESS OF USING VARIOUS OSTEOPROTECTORS
The method for diagnosing osteoporosis, using a method for determining the dynamics of closure of cavities to evaluate the effectiveness of the application of various bone protectors, relates to the field of medicine, for the diagnosis of osteoporosis and measurement of the effectiveness of therapeutic and prophylactic treatment of conditions associated with osteoporosis. The method is characterised by laboratory, histological and radiological methods of examination (standard radiography) and by measuring bone mineral density using the radiological absorptive method on osteometers, into which an additional diagnostic criterion is introduced, namely the measurement of cavities by specially adjusting them to measure cavities in trabecular bone sections using the radiological absorptive method and in addition, distilled water is introduced into special incubation apparatuses around the limb bones of the hands and feet which are being examined. The problem being addressed by the claimed invention is to objectively evaluate the effectiveness of a preparation (preparations) (bone protector) and measure cavities in trabecular bone sections. It proposes to improve the diagnostic capabilities of computerised osteometers by measuring cavities caused by osteoporosis and determine the severity of the disease not only on the basis of mineral density, but also on the basis of the presence of cavities in trabecular bone sections.
The method for preventing and treating osteoporosis and bone fractures and the preparation for preventing and treating osteoporosis and bone fractures relates to medicine, in particular to agents for the treatment and prevention of conditions associated with various forms of osteoporosis. The method is characterised in that it involves taking between 10 mg and 1000 mg per day of drone brood, between 50 IU and 1,000,000 IU per day of vitamin D or vitamins of this group and/or the active metabolites thereof, and between 25 mg and 3000 mg per day of a calcium compound, so as to be simultaneously supplied to the body daily, and the preparation composed of between 10 mg and 1000 mg of drone brood, between 50 IU and 1,000,000 IU of vitamin D or vitamins of this group and/or the active metabolites thereof and between 25 mg and 3000 mg of a calcium compound, can be in powder, tablet or capsule form. Implementing the invention provides for the achievement of the technical result stated by the author, which makes it possible to eliminate or reduce the mineralisation imbalance of various bone tissue segments. The use of the claimed agent strengthens the mechanism for uniformly restoring bone mineral density, the use of drone brood in combination with vitamin D aims to provide for additional strength in remodelling injured bone tissue segments and for bone tissue retention by maintaining androgen levels.
The invention relates to the pharmaceutical and food industries, to medicine, and in particular, to biologically active food supplements, and describes the process of obtaining an adsorbed drone brood, and the composition thereof that ensures the preservation and stabilization of all biological properties of the drone brood over a long period (up to three years), which makes it possible to organize the mass production of drone brood-based products.
