Abstract

A multi-action poker game played via a networked system such a server-based system or global computer network (e.g., the Internet). The poker game generally involves players playing two or more independent poker hands substantially simultaneously at the same virtual poker table. The multiple poker hands are distinguished using distinctive playing cards (and/or card placements) and/or poker chip counts or by multiple representations of the same virtual poker table. Alternatively, a single chip count may be used for each of the at least than two hands.

Abstract

An elliptical, poker table incorporating two dealer stations with each dealer station including one or more of the following: automatic card shuffler, chip rack, poker cards and drop box. In one configuration, the two dealer stations are positioned oppositely on long sides of the poker table and may be offset from one another. The poker table layout may include two chip areas at each player station to accommodate different sets of chips - one for each poker game being played simultaneously. The poker table layout may depict two distinguishable common card areas and betting areas. Chip separators may be positioned near each player station to maintain an independence of player chip stacks. One poker table incorporates a live dealer station and electronic poker system permitting a live poker game and electronic poker game to be played substantially simultaneously.

Simultaneous poker hands played on an elliptical, table incorporating two dealer stations with each dealer station including one or more of the following: automatic shuffler; chip rack and chips; poker cards; and drop box. Using the table facilitates the play of a game comprising broadly: positioning two dealers about a table at two independent dealer stations and utilizing said two dealers to deal independent poker hands substantially simultaneously; and providing players with two distinctive chip sets and sets of cards to play said independent poker hands substantially simultaneously. A pair of distinct dealer buttons provides means for play of the two poker games to be managed independently. In other versions, a single chip set may be used; the table may depict separate betting areas; and/or one of the multiple dealers may be an electronic system. Commonly colored dealer buttons, betting areas and cards may maintain the independence of the two poker games.
